Up for sale is a heavy-duty electric car motor, designed for cars and trucks in the 4000 to 5800-pound range. The motor is a custom-built General Electric motor, designed to be an upgrade to the Warp 11 motor. It features a much thicker output shaft (over 3x the cross-sectional area), heavier armature, and solid machined-brass brush holders. The frame is nearly identical to the Warp 11; Easily installs in most vehicles with readily-available shaft and motor adapter plates, such as the ones at Canadian EV: www.canev.com/adapters.php,
Motors like this normally retail for $6500 to $7200 — nearly double the price of the Warp 11. Recommended for use with any 1000 or 2000-amp Controller, and battery packs up to 230 volts. Great for any car or truck up to 6500 pounds! Due to the construction of this motor, it can be used for towing, hauling, and racing applications. Motor has built-in thermal switch to easily indicate overheating. Recommended maximum RPM is 5400.
Can produce over 433 ft/lbs of torque starting at zero RPM — this kind of power rivals turbocharged gas and even diesel engines.
This motor was installed in a customer’s car, but used very little — motor is still in excellent condition. The customer removed the motor to upgrade to twin 9-inch motors. The black brackets installed on the front of the motor are NOT INCLUDED with the motor, because the customer needs them to install his new motors.
